About the Parade
For nearly 100 years, the Diaspora Hellenes in the Greater New York area have proudly celebrated Greek Independence Day by marching up the famed 5th Avenue in New York City. Today, Independence Day isn't just celebrated on one day, but rather a month-long series of cultural programming culminating in the parade.
