About
Thousands of people are expected to attend marking 205 years since March 25, 1821, the start of the Greek Revolution for liberation from the Ottoman Turkish yoke.
The annual Greek Parade is being organized under the auspices of the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York, with Louis Katsos serving as the Chairman of the 45-member, 2026 Greek Independence Day Parade Committee.
The theme of our parade is the 205/250th Anniversaries
of two revolutions united by the enduring ideals of freedom, self-determination, and civic virtue.
