We express our appreciation to the Governor of New York for recognizing Greek Independence Day by lighting the Federal Monuments in blue and white (Freedom Tower depicted to the right), and to our Greek-American senators Giannaris, Gounardes and Skoufis and Assembly members, Tannousis and Lemondes for passing two resolutions (below):
